Lobster aquarium systems are specially designed setups created to ensure the healthy care and maintenance of lobsters. These aquariums include various equipment and configurations that provide an environment closely resembling the lobsters’ natural habitat.
Since lobsters typically live in marine environments, special attention must be given to factors such as water salinity, temperature, pH level, oxygen concentration, and filtration within the aquarium system.
In lobster systems, temperature is critical for the healthy survival of the animals. The optimal target temperature is a maximum of 14–15°C, and since this is often lower than the ambient temperature where the aquarium or tank is located, condensation can occur on the glass surfaces.
This condensation not only prevents the lobsters from being displayed aesthetically, but also allows dripping water to damage the system structure and the filtration equipment below. To eliminate this issue, the use of argon gas–filled glass is more suitable for lobster systems.
Our company determines the most suitable tank size based on the stocking quantities specified by the customer and integrates the appropriate life support system components for the species to be stored. After the installation phase, the customer is provided with detailed information about the system.
Pruva designs and installs specialized lobster and crustacean aquarium systems for restaurants, hotels, and seafood markets. These systems are engineered to maintain optimal water conditions that preserve livestock vitality and presentation quality.
